Peter van Hout, the Financial Services Manager of the Board of Administration, Methodist Church of New Zealand will be holding two workshops on the new financial reporting standards for Tier 3 and 4 registered charities.
It will be a hands on presentation showing a “real” Methodist Parish and working from their profit and loss account and balance sheet in Xero to fully completed annual accounts.
There will be a CD-ROM handed out which will include all handouts and EXCEL templates.
There is no cost but a charge of $5.00 will be made to cover a light meal cost.
If you are intending to come, we would appreciate if you could let Peter know by e-mail at least 3 working days BEFORE the workshops. This is to make sure catering and handout numbers are known.
